So here we are in 2006...hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.  We certainly did!  After taking our repose in NYC, Dubai and Paris over the festive season we're back with some serious plans...

We have a new album project which we're working on right now.  We hope to be in the studio in Feb and it should be released very soon after.  We will keep you updated on the important bits, musical direction, upcoming gigs, how many kebabs Vahe has eaten in the studio...that sort of thing...but for now sit tight and await our mighty return...

Many thanks to all who came to see us at the 100 Club last week, was another great show!  We've got a couple more gigs in the run-up to Christmas - for details go to the gig page

For all those coming to our 100 Club show on the 5th November you can download a flyer for a reduction on the door fee...go here to get it!

As the ringing in our ears is reaching a bearable level and our livers
are breathing a sigh of relief from such a barrage of booze, the tour of
our fair Isle has come to an end. Big shouts out to everyone who came
along to support us and especially to our new touring partners in
grime, Once Over. Check them out at www.onceovermusic.co.uk. Cheers
guys, and see you in Worthing on the 17th!

For tour pics, go to the Gallery...and if anyone took other pictures of us
playing, please send 'em in and we'll put them on the site, ta.

We're back in London on Bonfire night (5th November, remember?) at the
seminal jazz/ punk venue the 100 Club, and we'd love to see you there.
We're also playing in Bath the day before which should be a blinder.

Thanks to everyone who emailed the Lock Up on Radio 1 after we were
played a couple of weeks ago. You can pester them some more at
thelockup@bbc.co.uk to request Fat Cats tunes and sing our praises.
Rockin.

If anyone has cable TV, can they let us know if we're on the Musicians
Channel. They filmed a few songs at Chinnery's in Southend, and they've
got a couple of our videos too, but as we've been touring, we ain't
seen no telly. Just wondering...

And in case you didn't know, our latest album 'Deadbeat' is finally out
in the shops on a high street near you. So, instead of all that
nightmare Christmas present shopping kerfuffle, why not make it easy on
yourself and give the gift of Deadbeat to everyone you know. Simple.

What a cracking weekend of great gigs!! Even if we do say so ourselves!

Thanks to everyone who helped us out, especially Richard and the 100 Club, 3 Ages of Elvis and all at the Yorkshire House in Lancaster, 4ft Fingers and the Outer Limits. We'd also like to thank everyone who came to see us and for dancing and surfing like loonies! Big pat on the back too for the kind folks who helped raise around £700 for Shelter www.shelter.org.uk at the Underworld. Rock.

Cheers too for buying our new t-shirts. As a result, we've sold out of 'Shirt 2'! We're getting some more made so if you have ordered one, please be patient, they'll be on their way soon, we promise.

Gig wise, next week we're in Derby on the 10th and back at Satan's Hollow in Manchester on Thursday 11th with our good friend Big Bad Billy No Mates. Keep it swingpunkskankblahblahblah and we'll see you down the front .

A massive Thank You to everyone who came down to Moles on Saturday, I think it's fair to say it was a blinding gig and everyone seemed to get as sweaty on the dance floor as we did rockin on t'stage. Also a big shout out to the folks at the Pig's Nose - yet another wild night and party, and in the presence of a Royal correspondent too, how bizarre!

Don't miss us this weekend if you're in or around London as we play with 4ft Fingers on Friday, our eager return to the 100 Club on Saturday (has it been that long?) and a whole host of bands on Sunday in Camden at the Underworld. And we're back in Lancaster on Monday too. Blimey. More details if you click 'ere. We may well be filming on Saturday night for our new video, so if you want to be on tv...you best get down the front!

And for those of you who missed it, you can see our recent Metal Hammer feature and some 'Deadbeat' reviews by clicking the image below...

So, we have returned from Tokyo a rather weathered but happy bunch.  It was hard work, but another absolutely fantastic tour.  Thanks to CR Japan and Duncan, and a big thanks to Captain Andre for all your help.  It couldn't have happened without you.  Please follow the link below for the full Tokyo Tour Gallery.
